i've returned from travels. i had a nice time, aside from the worrying. i recently returned from florida. here are some pictures.

way too into school. i'm surprised i've been going out on monday nights, spending money, and ending up in questionably apartments filled with guys. it's cool. i'm used to it--bars, hotel rooms, bathrooms, i've dealt with them all. at least my social life is considerably more exciting.

here's a rundown on my new academic life: all my classes are loathsome, with the subject exception of italian where we always end up laughing about morire. there's a grandpa, a hipster, and some lady..i really miss last quarter with mr. sweaty. anyways! there are so many things to do and people for me to see, time schedule nonconflicting pending, that leave me excited, eager for le weekend.

so, lately all i've been watching is good ol' simpsons episodes, seasons 1, 2, and 5. here are two shots of attractive, fictional womans that often get lost in all the dialogue and story and the fact that you were eating that sandwich instead of watching the screen:

today is post-worthy! for some odd reason i woke up around three AM, unable to sleep (i tossed and turned distraught over thoughts of slender man...), finally deciding to watch old simpsons treehouse of horror episodes.


i fell asleep on the third one...had no idea that today would reall, truly bear news of intrigue, excitement, and general horror. by the end of the month i will no longer be wasting away in this shit-ridden, overeating with chemically enhanced foodstuffs, water-wasting, mostly education ignoring country! ok, this news came about around 8 or so when i thought, "what the hell, i'll go online." checking my email i come across this congratulations deal and ... that's how it went down. oh my god. my initial reaction was nonchalant and kinda glad i got it, but it hit home hard when i realised what this job meant..i am fucking apprehensive, terrified, and generally aroused, not sexually.

[Bl]and what? a summer travesty

it's the last day of july! oh shitts. and next week i have to go off to some wedding that i'm not to keen on now (no, no, it isn't mine. there prolly ain't nobody who's gonna spend the rest of their life with me). this post really serves no poignant purpose and i'm not even going to bring up stuff from the past. i guess. however, i'm sadly realizing that summer is slowly decaying away...i've wasted it for the most part and i'm spending my days in anguish. i think they get worse every year...except maybe 2006. that was some genuine fun, if i recall. nothing like that nowadays, it's just the monotony of this country of where i am of who i don't know.

i really want to make this long. more unnecessary and eclectic typing: i have been watching the first season of the venture bros. and listening to the commentary. it's very erratic and tangential, usually, regarding whatever is happening in the episode at the time. it's not something i'm used to, having also been watching dvds of old simpsons episodes and listening to that commentary. they explain stuff and then again, i haven't heard what doc hammer and jackson publick have said about episodes in the other seasons. yet. bored out of mind otherwise and this isn't a particularly great outlet.
