i wonder. these days have been going by like...it's so painstakingly..slow, maybe? they're too long for their own good. perhaps all the obligations i have to fulfill are making my daily activities seem weighted, much more so than usual. alas, i trudge on and emit an overly pensive manner, which i suppose is sometimes construed as a bit sad, and fantasize about doing other things (people? no, i don't suppose so..or, not as often as i used to..but! I digress.) I'm so eager to finish up this undergrad life yet i know i do not have definite plans for the near future. ideas, vaguely, but actions i'm seriously considering are probably nil.
i know i'm getting older. i can't be having this 17 year old mindset forever, or, you know, this late teen way of thinking. transitioning into a state of indifference might not be the optimal reaction to this realization. i think i made an ultimatum to myself, with no consequence, that i would be more decisive. it's not happening at the right rate..the onset of an incentive as a motivation.
well, that's all i'd like to discuss for the end of this month. oh man.

slummed On that, oh Henry V.
it's high time i make this project productive. it's been neglected!! what would blog protective services do if they knew??
all right. i've been 21 for, uh, two weeks now, i think, and i've had my four wisdom teeth extracted (yes, the pain is still there and.. there are giant gaps in my gums...) and that's the gist of what's been going on in my life! i suppose i should mention that i've taken to my erudite habits by studying italiano, i swear i know more of it than spanish. ehh. oh! exciting, exciting: new season of the venture bros. i didn't really understand that little counter thing that kept popping up with the $ thing, but, i got it and how it was all memento-fied (like the movie with guy pearce). I AM SMITTEN with HANK VENTURE and his LONG UNKEMPT HAIR. His improved wardrobe, including Brock's shearling lined jean jacket, and choice of reading material--marvel issue #1..comics in general are just the coke lines on my glass coffee table. Since i couldn't find a decent picture of his new look, i present to you this equally cute picture which includes dean.
i also watched district b-13 (thank you, old time magazine). it's a french movie set in the kinda mostly dystopian near future with government corruption and nuclear weapons of sorts. lots of parkour. reminded me a little of mirror's edge. sooo..i discovered monsieur david belle. he is the founder of parkour (ok. that i just found out). look at him when he was a young 'un.

....

i don't care how small those pictures are...i mean, you can search for the same stuff should you become entranced with this character.
what i'm listening to a lot of: dave brubek, music from shaft performed by Soul Mann & the Brothers (the theme is awesome), and the smoke. suck on that.

Puberty at 25 as well as Tasty Type B Blood
I missed The Wombats indefinately. *tear* *tear*
It's terrible that I need to write like that..and also rather strange, I believe. Well, I have been here in the state of Illinois (aaaagain? Home sweet home) for a long time. Taco Bell at 1:30 A.M. for a feast. Hells yes. There isn't much to say, really, other than that. It's been over a year since my first entry! Ho shit. Long time past since the Japan trip (naru-chan!! ima doko da yo?). Generally fun times had by all. When they were all here about a week ago. Wow. Why have I stayed this long (there is an obvious answer, but let us suppose that this proposed question is rhetorical)? I have fallen asleep listening to my cousin talk to this guy (he has a peculiar laugh; it's strangely adorable and what's up with his squinty eyes and why does he look like this other guy who hangs out with a certain friend of mine?) and we have chatted about how to deal with poop. I guess no more chili for her. I suppose we've also realized how old we are (I mean, we've practically known each other since forevah) and how old we might become (grandparents?). I guess we can look forward to these kind of visits later. We can look back and be all, "Remember that guy with the weird laugh?" and "Oh yeah. I ended up marrying him." Well, it might not be that likely to happen, but how scandalous would that be?
